AI Disclosure

Last updated 30 Jul 2026

SoftHarbor is built with AI assistance, and this page says where and how. It is published because the site asks you to trust a set of links and a dated security note — and that request is worth less if you do not know how the list was put together.

Tools used

Claude Opus 5 (model identifier claude-opus-5), developed by Anthropic, used through Claude Code — Anthropic’s command-line coding tool. Earlier work on the project used Claude models through the same tool. No other AI system contributed to this site.

Where it was used

AreaHow
Source codeWritten with AI assistance, then reviewed and run by the maintainer. Every change passes the same automated gates as any other: lint, type-check, unit tests, schema validation, EN/VI parity, a build, and a CSP guard.
TestsTest cases were drafted with AI assistance and are checked against the behaviour they describe — a test is only kept once it has been seen to fail on the bug it claims to cover.
Finding the softwareThe candidate list was assembled with AI assistance. Inclusion is a human decision against the published criteria, and every homepage, repository and download link is machine-checked on each pull request and again weekly.
SummariesWritten from scratch in both languages, never pasted from vendor marketing or an encyclopaedia. That is what allows the dataset to carry CC BY-SA 4.0 at all. Vietnamese is reviewed by a native speaker rather than machine-translated.
Security statusNot AI-decided. Each entry is checked by the maintainer against the published vetting checklist, and the scan behind every status is linked from the app page so you can read it yourself.

What this does not mean

AI assistance is not a warranty and not an excuse. Nothing here is checked less carefully because a model helped write it, and a mistake on this site is the maintainer’s, not a tool’s. The limits already stated in the Disclaimer apply unchanged: SoftHarbor hosts no downloads, cannot guarantee third-party software, and reports a security status only as of the date shown.

Found something wrong? Every app page has a "Report a bug" link, and the full history of how each entry got here is public in the repository.
